Team Lead – Sales

Opay Pakistan is seeking a results-driven Team Lead – Sales to spearhead its sales department in Lahore within a rapidly growing fintech environment. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities, proven sales expertise, and a genuine passion for driving digital financial solutions to market. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, coaching, and motivating the sales team to achieve monthly and quarterly targets, while developing and implementing effective sales strategies for fintech products including digital wallets, merchant services, and payment solutions. Key duties include driving merchant acquisition, customer onboarding, and revenue growth, as well as collaborating closely with Product, Marketing, and Compliance teams to align sales initiatives with broader business objectives. The Team Lead will also monitor team performance, prepare reports, recommend improvements, build and maintain strong relationships with merchants, partners, and corporate clients, and ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements such as SBP, EMI, and AML/KYC. Additionally, the role involves conducting training sessions to enhance team skills in customer engagement and fintech product knowledge. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, and have 5–7 years of experience in sales leadership within fintech, banking, or financial services. A strong understanding of digital payments, merchant services, and fintech ecosystems is essential, along with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills are required, as is the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Preferred skills include experience in merchant acquisition and B2B sales, knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as SBP, EMI licensing, and AML/KYC, familiarity with CRM tools and digital sales platforms, and certifications in sales leadership or fintech compliance.
