Data & Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst

Hydrogen is seeking a detail-oriented Data & Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to transform complex business and marketing data into actionable insights that support strategic and operational decision-making. The successful candidate will analyze large datasets, develop interactive dashboards and reports, track key performance metrics, and ensure data quality and integrity. Key responsibilities include analyzing large datasets to identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and business insights; translating findings into actionable recommendations that improve business performance and marketing effectiveness; developing and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI; and ensuring reporting solutions are accurate, scalable, user-friendly, and aligned with business objectives. The role also involves combining data from multiple internal and external sources to create a unified view of business and marketing performance, collaborating with technical teams to improve data accessibility, availability, and reliability, and defining, monitoring, and reporting on key business and marketing performance indicators. Additional duties include conducting data audits, reconciliations, and validation checks to maintain data accuracy and integrity, working with Data Engineers to resolve data quality issues, documenting reporting processes and analytical methodologies, collaborating with stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytical requirements, and communicating complex findings clearly to provide data-driven insights that support decision-making across departments. The candidate must also stay up to date with emerging analytics, business intelligence, and data visualization tools and practices, and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to make reporting more efficient and effective. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science/Analytics, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related discipline; 2+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; strong SQL proficiency with experience working with large datasets, data modelling, reporting, and business intelligence concepts; hands-on experience with Power BI and Python or similar tools for data visualization, analysis, and automation; and strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights.
